This temple stands on a high platform, and consists on plan of a pancharatha sanctum preceded by a kapili, a rangamandapa, and perhaps also a mukhamandapa. An ornate pithais common to the whole temple and vedibandha and that of the rangamandapa is adorned by eight large projecting niches, bearing figures of goddesses including Gajalakshmi. The vedibandha has minor niches bearing figures, divine or secular, on all the projections and recesses in two registers capped by udgama pediments. The lower register has larger figure of an important form of Siva in the projecting niche on each bhadra, Dikpalason the karmas, vyalas in the intervening recesses. The upper register bears smaller figures of a divinity in the bhadra niche and secular mithunasor groups on the remaining projections as well as recesses. The bhadra niches harbour powerful reliefs of Siva as Nataraja (S), Andhakanatka (E) and Vinadhara (N) The sanctum is entered through a doorway resembling that of the rangamandapa the sanctum enshrines a Sivalinga. The temple is stylistically assignable to C.C.E. 950-960.
