Description

This Fort is one of the most Important fort of the region. In Present there are two main gates are located which shows all the functions of securities. This fort has various huge bastions which gives it more security. It is situated on a spur of the southern range of Satpura hill range. It is rectangular in shape and contains tanks and buildings. There are various beautiful carvings and building styles are seen which makes it one of the most beautiful fort of Gonds.  It was constructed in Islamic style during the time of Gond rulers.
